Bill n'Becky Wilde Pickups
The P-46 is a multi-pole piece design which accommodates a 4, 5, or 6 string bass. It is standard with four conductor wires for multi-sound wiring options and comes with mounting screws.

As mentioned, standard P pickups should function fine- though the misalignment of the poles under the strings might bother some people. I love the Wilde P-46. To my ears, it nails the 'classic P', sound with possibly a little more clarity. I feel that little extra clarity pays off if you want a more overdriven/distorted tone. And I don't think you can beat the price, currently $72, for a hand made pickup made by the family/trusted friends of a pioneer in ... ... more
