Anything on the edge of an instrument that isn't the outermost edge (binding) is called "purfling". These all-wood marquetry strips add an appealing visual element to distinguish your instrument.
We are unable to bend this purfling. It should be bent by hand using a pipe on low heat so it does not delaminate.
