So - can I "assume" - you bought the Sens 3DME system being fed from the Aviom's? I'm very familiar with those :) - the Avioms that is. Did/do you use the newer 360 or the older A16 model? 88 dB is a little loud (IMHO) for an IEM feed. The idea is to keep the volume as low as possible. turning it up might be part of your ... ... more

Yes, I got the Sens 3DME system and used Aviom A16's. You may be right. Maybe I did have it running too loud (or maybe I was not quite 88 decibels. I'm just not sure... may have been 85. Probably too loud nonetheless I guess). Maybe you're right... maybe that's too loud. Sounds like your ears are in better shape than mine. ... ... more

Before doing anything else I'd pan things in your mix and double check that everything is gain staged properly. Clipping distortion may not be noticeable imediately but could be whats causing your issues. Having things panned in the mix will allow better instrument separation and clarity running everything dead center will ... ... more
