~ Thanks for the heads-up ! :thumbsup: But the ongoing problem for us Canadians is that Fender prohibits their USA and European retailers from shipping product to Canada, allegedly to protect the Fender retailers up here. IIRC, I actually bought a bass once from CME, but it was [obviously] some other brand - Conklin, actually, ... ... more

~ You mean CME ? [link] Ya, someone posted upthread about this a few days ago, and I as usual lamented that we in Canada again seem to have gotten no respect from Fender. They tell their dealers in other countries that they are not allowed to ship any of their products to here [apparently to protect our dealers], and then ... ... more

FYI Chicago Music Exchange has it on preorder again for October shipping. This is at least the second time this year. I think they must be doing prettly well with it. ... more
