I concede that they are interesting, but I view them as an upright equivalent roughly the same way I feel about Midi controllers as an acoustic percussion equivalent: they fill a hole, but don't sound truly convincing. Ever since I discovered these little nylon/bronze-strung guys, I've totally lost interest in "rubber basses". ... ... more
