Originally designed as a direct replacement for Gibson® EB series neck pickups, the Model One™ has found new life as a woofer/tweeter in multi-pickup bass setups. I have a Yamaha BB714BS. [image] The neck pickup is some kind of Mudbucker. Though it sounds a bit clearer than a typical Gibson one. That pickup is manufactured by Dimarzio. Dimarzio offers a a mudbucker in their catalog: Model One™ | DiMarzio. That might worth a try. ... more

Would this work? Model One™ | DiMarzio It's not Fender spacing, though. I did once find a Fender humbucker replacement source which might also work for you, but I can't remember what it was or if I have it bookmarked in any useful way. ... more
