Another "decent" DA cable is acting up and I'm just going to buy a wireless system for home. (My Bayou Cables at church just won't die!) Question for those of you who've tried/have these kinds of wireless transmitters. Anything wrong with this that I may not notice? [link] ... more
Beware of latency. I have been using a Shure wireless for a number of years and it's been through the wars. I can't say enough good things about it. The bad thing is that you could buy a cable a week for a couple years for the same price, but it's tough as nails and doesn't seem to cause any signal problems or audible latency. ... ... more

Still, there are worse things that can happen. After all, lots of people pay extra money to let someone else damage the finish for ... ... more
Like others said, the easiest way to eliminate the wireless is to just use a cable. I will tell you that I have had the Getaria set, and one other cheap set before that. Neither set lasted a full year, and they did do strange things like crackling, dropping in and out, and low volume,in the couple weeks before they died ... ... more
I have tried 3 sets and the Getaria wireless set is problematic. Flip mine up and down and crackling loss of signal. ... more
