After building and playing several instruments with thicknesses between 1.25" and 1.5", anything thicker feels cumbersome. CTS makes push/pull pots that only require 1" of depth. I'll find a link.... Thanks, i'll look into them! I don't mind 1.75" thickness, most of my gear is that thick; aside from a pbass or two (which sit around 1 5/8" thick), my Maya Grabber copy (which is perhaps 1.5" at most in depth, perhaps even 1.25" like the originals) & few of my own builds (Ripper, Green Grabber, tigerbird - these all sit ... ... more
