I would definitely add a pickup. In a perfect world, I'd contact Carey Nordstrand about getting a Big SplitMan that will pair with the P46, then have a coil tap on it to give me a choice of 2 J positions at the bridge. Cross-posted in the general non-USA MTD thread, perhaps more appropriate here. If I ever get an MTD Super, I'd probably change the two 3-way toggle switches to select each pickup's coils. Bridge-side, both, neck-side. I put it all into a spreadsheet, since that's just something I do. Between the two toggles for each pickup ... ... more
