Standing in the Shadows of Motown kinda sort does that a bit. It goes into depth about what's being played and then the parts are all transcribed in standard notation. Its good practice IMO for understanding note values (and reading) while learning things by ear. I got a lot out of that book. Not precisely what you're looking ... ... more
