Here: Sadowsky Onboard Drop-In Bass Preamp 4-Knob VTC Active JazzI think it's saying that if your pickups must be used with 250K or 500K pots, then the Sadowsky preamp would not be compatible. I'm guessing it's because the prewired Sadowsky system has 25K(?) pots for volume and tone. But how would one know whether one's ... ... more

There seems to be an ebb and flow to the supply of Sadowsky onboard preamps. They sell out everywhere, a new group of them are built and brought to market, they sell out, and the cycle continues. Sometimes you have to hunt them out at dealers. The pres are only sold by Framus/ Warwick now, and they're out of stock. Looks ... ... more
