Personally, I'd be pretty concerned doing a road trip without PPF (if that was your intention). They make "track sprays" that aren't the prettiest, but will protect your car just like PPF (say you're doing a track day). You can peel it off after. There is also track wrap that you could use I've seen recommended here in the past. Temporary PPF that is fairly cheap I think, I have no recommendations on where to source or the lead time, but it's an option. With Prime delivers tomorrow: [link] ... more
