Thanks for posting your experience. This does not bode well for anyone north of the Mason-Dixon Line. To mitigate I'm planning to carry a bag or two of rock salt plus a small shovel in the truck anytime snow/ice is in the forecast. As a tip, floor mats work better than salt because you don't have to wait for the ice to melt. ... more
