Optima's and some other better AGM's can easily last far longer, the Prius we traded for our model 3 had an almost 10 yr old Optima battery in it, Optima makes a deep cycle yellow top for the Prius, Prius has odd sized terminals, but anyway the Prius use of a 12v battery is similar to a Tesla's.
