oh interesting. Never thought about it. I fill my tires maybe 1-2 a year, not a lot of temperature changes here in Southern California, usually fill up once when it gets "cold" and 6 months later when it gets warm. I ended up going with this harbor freight one, based on the project farm youtube videos: 12v 100 PSI High Volume Air Inflator Ultimately, I figure if I have to use this thing, I'm likely in the middle of nowhere installing a tire plug. After probably too much research I went with this: [link] Lots of really positive youtube reviews, including teardowns, that show it is well built.
