The meter can only measure the active power(real power). It doesn't show Apparent power. If you measure power from a DC-AC inverter, please make sure it's PURE SINE WAVE. I don't see really the need to buy a wall charger, the UMC provided with the car is fine but you should order, or get from your local Tesla store, a NEMA 30A or 50A adapter.
